As you might guess from my photo, I am not from around here. I do however, want to understand the truth of being human; then I will fit in and be accepted.
I have always been curious about human relationships; specifically the traditional male/female relationship. I also know that I would like to be in a "good" relationship: I just don't know why.
Being that our politicians are the recognized pillars of our social/cultural community; I figured this would be the place to start. There are so many outstanding candidates to observe; but rightly so; it was Steve Mnuchin and his lovely third wife that were my inspiration.
There was just something so profoundly transactional about their loving relationship. I needed a vehicle, perhaps a metaphor to express what I was feeling; and in a flash, there it was: "sexual cannibalism".
Not only would I create a sculpture to memorialize this symmetrical perfection: I have committed myself to the pursuit of a similar idealized & loving relationship!
